When my children were in elementary school, we embraced the beautiful practice of
sharing the good things that happened each day at our dinner table. It’s easy to dwell
on the challenges, but expressing the positives can truly transform our outlook. This
practice allowed my children to celebrate each other’s successes!
At the end of the year, we took it a step further by reflecting on all the good things that
unfolded. This reflection not only uplifted our spirits but also paved the way for setting
meaningful goals for the upcoming year. Over 20 years later, my children continue this
inspiring tradition, recognizing its power and impact. It does require intentionality, but
the rewards are immeasurable. I encourage you to give it a try! We have a variety of
Good Things Journals available—check them out! May you discover GOOD THINGS
every day!
